NY Waterway Tours' sightseeing cruises are a great way to experience some of New York City's greatest sights while avoiding long lines and enjoying the wonderful waterfront and views of the Manhattan skyline. All of our standard tours are narrated by certified Tour Guides who will share not only their knowledge of Manhattan and New York Harbor, but also some unique stories about what makes New York City the "greatest city in the world."
Our menu consists of an assortment of 90-minute harbor cruises that travel down the Hudson River from Midtown on the West Side and up the East River to the United Nations. Tours include the Skyline Cruise, City Lights Cruise, the N-Y Historical Society History Cruise and the American Institute of Architects NY Architecture Cruise.
From our downtown location, the 50-minute Lady Liberty Cruise sails past the Brooklyn Bridge, the South Street Seaport, Governors Island and stops just yards away from the Statue of Liberty, where you can take amazing photos that you will treasure forever.
Our specialty cruises include Happy Hour cruises, City Nights Party cruises, specialty cruises including a Kid's Adventure cruise, 4th of July, Fall Foliage, day trips to Nyack and more. For you baseball fans, we provide ferry service to every NY Yankees game at Yankee Stadium.

Hours of Operation
Our 90-minute Skyline Cruise and our 50-minute Lady Liberty cruises sail year round (with the exception of Christmas and New Years Day); times vary by season. All other cruises are seasonal with most running between April and December. 95 South (via the Cross-Bronx Expressway) to the George Washington Bridge. At approach to bridge, bear right to lower level. Exit at the last exit in New York-Parkway South-9A. Follow Parkway South (Henry Hudson Parkway/West Side Highway) to 38th Street.
Saw Mill River Parkway/Henry Hudson Parkway/Route 9A: Follow 9A South to 38th Street.
New York State Thruway/Major Deegan Expressway/Route 87: Major Deegan Expressway to George Washington Bridge exit. Stay in right lane towards lower level. Exit at the last exit in New York-Parkway South-9A. Follow Parkway South (Henry Hudson Parkway/West Side Highway) to 38th Street.
From the South (New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Etc.)
95 North to the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit at the Lincoln Tunnel. When exiting the tunnel, bear left. Follow signs for uptown or northbound to 38th Street. George Washington Bridge to Parkway South- 9A. Terminal is located at 38th Street.
From Queens and Long Island
Queens-Midtown Tunnel: Take Southbound or Downtown exit to 34th Street and turn right. Go west to 12th Avenue and turn right on 12th Avenue. Terminal is located at 38th Street.
Queensboro/59th Street Bridge: Take 60/61st Street Exit. Go to 5th Avenue alongside Central Park to 59th Street. Turn right onto 59th Street to 12th Avenue and turn left. Terminal is located at 38th Street.
From Staten Island
Verrazano-Narrows Bridge eastbound to the Gowanus Expressway, to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Exit westbound to the West Side Highway/12th Avenue. Terminal is located at 38th Street.
Public Transportation
Please keep in mind that the public transportation fare is $2.00. The subways accept MetroCards. Buses accept MetroCards and exact change fares. With MetroCards you can transfer from subway to bus and bus to subway for one fare. MetroCards are available at the local stores.
Buses
M34:
Runs east/west on 34th Street. Stops on 12th Avenue across from the NY Waterway Terminal and at Penn Station.
M42:
Runs east/west on 42nd street. Stops at 12th Avenue and 42nd Street (terminal is located at 38th Street) and at Grand Central Station.
Port Authority:
New Jersey Transit and other buses arrive at the Port Authority terminal at 42nd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. The M42 will bring you from there to 12th Avenue and 42nd Street. Terminal is located at 38th Street.
Trains

Bus
SIT BACK AND RELAX. THE RIDE'S ON US.
Our FREE red, white and blue shuttle buses are frequently seen and always recognized on the street of Manhattan. They follow the most popular routes around the city which include 57th Street, 49th Street, 42nd Street, and 34th Street, as well as a special Downtown loop. Our FREE shuttle buses stop at all NYC bus stops along these routes. All you have to do is wave them down, like you would hail a taxi, and then just sit back as our comfortable bus transports you directly to Pier 78, which is where our tour boats depart from. Pier 78 is located at W. 38th St. & 12th Ave. To make it even easier, if you can't find a regular bus stop close by, you can always go to one of our two primary pick-up locations where you can count on a bus at the following times:

49TH STREET BUS STOP
This Times Square bus stop is located on the north side of 49th St. on the block between 7th Ave. and Broadway. (Ruby Foo's restaurant is on the corner.)
34TH STREET BUS STOP
This stop is located on the north side of 34th St., west of 5th Ave. It's just across the street from the Empire State Building.
HOTEL BUS PICK-UPS
For your convenience, we also offer a bus pick-up at three of the major hotels in midtown Manhattan. These locations and pick-up times are:
- WALDORF-ASTORIA at 9:10am (49th Street, east of Park Avenue)
- NEW YORK HILTON at 9:20am (53rd Street, west of 6th Avenue)
- MARRIOTT MARQUIS at 9:30am (45th Street, west of 7th Avenue)
NOTE: The hotel bus arrives at our terminal (Pier 78 at W. 38th & 12th Ave.) in time for the first cruise departure of the day.
When your tour is complete, our FREE shuttle buses are ready to make your New York experience a safe, easy and pleasurable one by transporting you back to your destination.
