This one hour journey through immigration's past and present explors historic harbor sites and the role that immigrants have played - and still play - in shaping New York and the nation. You'll hear National Park Service Rangers and other experts reveal the changing face of America, and the voices of recent immigrants who speak candidly about their lives.

Written and narrated by New York Times reporter Sam Roberts, the tour also features reporters Joseph Berger and David Gonzalez, talking about their own experiences covering the immigration beat today.
