SERVICE ADVISORY: Senior / Disabled Ticket Policy Update – Effective May 11
Changes to senior/disabled ticket purchasing and usage take effect May 11.

Ticket Purchase Options
- Senior/Disabled tickets will no longer be available at unmanned ticket vending machines.
- Senior tickets are no longer available during peak commuter hours
- For Seniors commuting to work the 10-trip offers a similar type discount
- Tickets can be purchased:
    - At a staffed ticket window from an agent
    - Through the NY Waterway mobile app

Off-Peak Usage Requirement
Senior/Disabled tickets are valid for off-peak travel only and are half the price of an adult ticket for the same route:
- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and after 8:00 PM
- Weekends: All day

Mobile App Activation
- Tickets may be purchased in the app at any time
- However, tickets can only be activated during off-peak hours

Enrollment Requirement
To be eligible for Senior/Disabled fares, customers must complete an application and provide proof of eligibility.
