Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting

The Ferry is Best Way to the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The 2021 tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, December 1 on Rockefeller Plaza. Each year, thousands crowd the sidewalks for the event and millions watch the live broadcast. The tree will remain lit and on display on the plaza between West 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues through Monday, January 10, 2022.

Avoid the tunnel and parking hassle. For Fast, Easy & Fun travels during this holiday season, take the Ferry from Port Imperial Weehawken, Hoboken or Jersey City to Midtown W 39th Street. Our free connecting Midtown shuttles take you as far as 7th Avenue. (Walking distance to Rockefeller Center)
