NY Waterway's East River Ferry "Ride Free" grace period is over and we wanted to remind all our passengers that tickets are required for boarding our vessels beginning on Saturday, June 25th. We have installed ticket vending machines at each East River Ferry location that accepts all forms of Credit and Debit card payments. In order to avoid lines and potential delays in your schedule, we strongly encourage all our riders to purchase their tickets in advance of the actual sailing date. For riders unable to pay with a credit or debit card before boarding, cash payments will be accepted on board after embarkation. All passengers paying by credit and debit on board will be subject to a $1 per ticket surcharge.
