I didn't realize this until after I was at work. I called your customer service team. I explained the situation and told them my name was on the back with my cell phone number. They were so understanding and helpful. They told me they would look into it and get back to me. I really thought it was a lost cause!  A few hours later Sylvia (spelling?) called and told me they found it! - The pass was waiting at Port Imperial when I got home from work today - it was even taped back together!


Your team went above and beyond for me today and I am so appreciative. I know you receive your share of complaints so it was important to me to take the time to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of your team. It is also a testament to you, as their supervisor. I have been taking the ferry for 6 years and this validates why my husband and I spend the extra money to commute this way. Thank you so much again!"

"On May 23, 2012 I was a passenger awaiting the ferry at Port Imperial. I had called customer service that morning to confirm the ferry was running on schedule. The agent said yes the ferry was running every 20 minutes. I had just missed the 11:40am by a few minutes and got stuck waiting for the 12.
 
I just wanted to say Thank you to Mr. Imperatore, I am a life long Weehawken resident and have used the the ferry system for over 10 years. I was surprised that the ferry system did not anticipate the break in service due to the Ships down the Hudson that day. However, I work as a flight attendant for a regional (United) airline. Delays happen, things don't always go as planned.  When a problem happens on the plane, a good Captain shows his face and talks to the passengers. Problem solves quickly. I appreciate that Mr. Imperatore solved the dilemma and came out to show he was going to help us get to get to NYC. He found a quick alternative, To me this service stands out. A great job!  Excellent customer service.
