        TICKET POLICY        

All One-Way tickets (Adult, Senior, Disabled, Children) are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.  The expiration date is printed on the front of each ticket.

• Ten-Trip tickets are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase.  The expiration date is printed on the front of each ticket.

• 40-Trip tickets are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.  The expiration date is printed on the front of each ticket.

• Monthly passes are ONLY valid for the calendar month & year that is printed on the face of the pass.  They can be purchased starting on the 20th of each month, however it cannot be used until the first day of that month that is printed on the pass.

• App tickets expire 1 year from date of purchase.


NOTE:  All customers MUST have a ticket to board the ferry.  If the App is not working you MUST purchase a paper ticket.  Monthly, 30-Day and 7-Day App pass holders can call 800-533-3779 for a refund if App is not working, please get a receipt for ticket purchased.

  ANIMAL POLICY


Only service animals accompanying customers with disabilities or their trainers, police dogs, and small pets in carry-on travel cages are allowed on-board the ferries.



 STUDENT FARES

To qualify for student fares you must have the student application form filled out by school official and you must be a full-time student.  Forms can be picked up at any NY Waterway ticket office. 



CHILDREN POLICY

Children 5 and UNDER ride free, for every paying adult two children qualify to ride free.  Ages 6-11 pay children prices and must be accompanied by an adult, ages 12 years and over pay adult prices.

NOTE: 

 BICYCLE POLICY

Any bicycle brought onto a ferry is subject to the bike surcharge fee unless the bike can be folded and carried like a suitcase.
